Multiple sclerosis (MS) isn’t ‘just’ a physical disease.

It affects every part of a person’s life. Their mental health. Their sense of self. Their ability to get out, socialise and do the things they love.

Yet support for the emotional and psychological wellbeing of people with MS is sorely lacking. Please donate to help change that.

Your gift can help advance research into MS-specific mental health care.

You can also help grow MS Plus Peer Support groups to bring vital connection and understanding to more people living with MS.

Help connect people with MS with a better quality of life. Donate today.

"I don’t know what my life will look like in five years."

– David

David spent 15 years not knowing what was wrong. He had bladder issues, had to stop playing his beloved cricket, and was finding it harder to do his job. He was finally diagnosed with MS in his early fifties. But as he faced worsening symptoms with little support, his mental health also suffered.

Caring MS Plus supporters like you connected David to the services that changed his life. He started physiotherapy at our Wellbeing Centre and joined a MS Plus Peer Support group.

Although he’s a shy bloke, he got a lot out of meeting other people with MS – the chats, advice, laughs, and feeling of being understood. Within weeks, he was training to lead the group himself.

“It’s the human connection we all need,” he says.

David knows you can’t face the toll of MS alone. Yet so many people in our community are.

Please donate to help connect people with MS to life-changing mental and emotional health support.
